Wear and Use Explained

Lease vehicles should be returned in good condition, allowing for Normal Wear and Use (refer to your Lease Agreement). Anything outside of Normal Wear and Use may result in Excess Wear and Use charges.

  • Mechanical or electrical malfunctions

Some damage considered as Excess Wear and Use may be covered by your insurance. Be sure to allow sufficient time for your claims to be processed/repairs completed before returning the vehicle.

You may be charged for unaddressed Excess Wear and Use when the vehicle is returned.

Excess Mileage

If mileage on your lease vehicle exceeds that allowed under your Red Carpet Lease Agreement, you will be responsible for the overage. Please refer to your agreement for miles allowed and excess mileage charges.
